Of course the way you live your life affects your health.

If you eat bad your going to be over weight..
If you smoke, you are going to be out of breath and have a bad lung span.
If you drink too much you can get really sick..or fat.
If you abuse anything you can die.
If you make bad choices it can make you unhappy..
If you surround your self with miserable people you will be depressed..

You should live your life the best way you know how to have a healthy mind and body.. and #1 tip.. have religion. Spirtuality is super helpful.

I think that their diet, stress level and amount of exercise that they do is important to their health. If you eat right, exercise at lease three times per week for about 30 mins, then you should be okay in terms of high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, etc.
