i know that when i see the beauty of creation, i understand God a little more. its a little glimpse of him. When i look at the sunsets especially, it just gets straight to my heart. its hard to explain, but it gives me hope, and i just appreciate the life hes given me so much more.

Science does.
Not all scientists, however, have closed the door on the alternative. For example, physicist H. S. Lipson, realizing the odds against a spontaneous origin for life, said: “The only acceptable explanation is creation. I know that this is anathema to physicists, as indeed it is to me, but we must not reject a theory that we do not like if the experimental evidence supports it.” He further observed that after Darwin’s book, The Origin of Species, “evolution became in a sense a scientific religion; almost all scientists have accepted it and many are prepared to ‘bend’ their observations to fit in with it.”30 A sad but true commentary.
35 Chandra Wickramasinghe, professor at University College, Cardiff, said: “From my earliest training as a scientist I was very strongly brainwashed to believe that science cannot be consistent with any kind of deliberate creation. That notion has had to be very painfully shed. I am quite uncomfortable in the situation, the state of mind I now find myself in. But there is no logical way out of it. . . . For life to have been a chemical accident on earth is like looking for a particular grain of sand on all the beaches in all the planets in the universe—and finding it.” In other words, it is just not possible that life could have originated from a chemical accident. So Wickramasinghe concludes: “There is no other way in which we can understand the precise ordering of the chemicals of life except to invoke the creations on a cosmic scale.”31
36 As astronomer Robert Jastrow said: “Scientists have no proof that life was not the result of an act of creation.”32
37 Yet, even assuming that a first living cell did somehow spontaneously arise, is there evidence that it evolved into all the creatures that have ever lived on the earth? Fossils supply the answer, and the next chapter considers what the fossil record really says.

There is too much beauty in nature for it to be an accident. Too much attention to detail. Henri Nouwen once wrote about this.
He was watching the mist rise above a field in the early morning, probably miles away from civilization, and the whole scene was so serene and moving...he said something to the effect of how he could almost feel that the land loved God and lived for the hope of His presence. He wanted so badly for his friends and family to see this, but he knew that they never would. They were too busy caught in the middle of their hectic lives to notice the beauty our Heavenly Father has set before us to witness.
We all need to take a "time out" for God...take a drive at sunset...walk through the woods...climb a high hill and gaze at the valley below...all the while communicating with him, thanking him for the beautiful world he has given us. And then, instead of the computer-instead of putting in a movie-devote some time to Him...asking, seeking, confessing, listening.

If you believe in God then you know where nature came from...not mother nature...duh..
this world is a amazing place with beauties and creations that are inconceivable by the human mind, and to not have God included in it would be like having a pie with a top crust but no filling...there's a part of God in everything he created, you just have to have an open mind, and look for him....most people exclude him from everything and life is just and existence on this planet til we die,but there's so much our there to see, experience and enjoy and to feel him there with us, if we allow it

Before I ever opened a bible, I always felt the presence of God when I was in nature most of all. That is how He revealved His love and might to me before I ever came to know Him. Now that I do....it is still where I communicate with Him on the most beautiful level. There, and His word and in prayer.

Compare the beauty of nature with the ugliness of religion. I think it becomes obvious that God created nature, and man created religion. Throw out your ancient superstition then go outside and meet God in person.

I can see God in nature. God created the vast wonderful things of this world. The different plants, there vastly differing size, shape, color, scent, and many uses. If a person does not believe in God or believes in evolution I would imagine it would be all but impossible for them to see the hand of God in these things. How can they see God (His power to make these things) if they don't believe in God in the first place? I believe God created these things and appreciate His power, love, and goodness to give us such things to use and enjoy. Add to this, the earth started in the GARDEN of Eden. Garden=nature, foliage, etc..

I find beauty and inspiration in nature, but I choose not to call it God, because using the G word empowers doctrinaires who will claim you believe everything they do.

I find beauty in evolution. The way everything in Nature has evolved. What is impressive is nature continually evolves.
