I have just met a new man...I like him very much. He lives a couple of hours away from me, but has come to visit. We enjoy eachother and talk on the phone every day. What do you think is reasonable....should I expect him to come visit weekly? I am willing to go to him....I am afraid it wont work because of the distance....any comments are welcome!

My brother met a girl that lives maybe 2 - 3 hours away.
If he gets off work early fridays he goes to stay with her, she comes down to stay with him, even if she has to stay at home while he's at work.
Their relationship is fine, and they are very much in love and i guess its good because everytime u go see him will be like a mini holiday.
It's extremely gorgeous he will take time to visit you, even though its a few hours drive, i doubt he'd do that for just anyone!! :) Good luck, follow your heart!

Long distance relationships can be tough if both people have unrealistic expectations about who is going to visit who and how often it's going to happen. If you both are willing to put extra effort into seeing each other, it could work!

give it a chance. if you enjoy each other dont let that go just because of distance, if you do you may regret it. Take a chance and visit him, alternate weeks where one of you travels. Who knows it may end up leading to something great. Dont be afraid of it not working or you will end up not giving it the chance to work! big mistake!

Maybe living a few hours away will work better than living next door in case u need 2 escape, just go with the flow, expect to see him as much as you really want to then you will get to know him more and then ul be able to decide where this mite go anywhere.,Good luck!!!

My brother once told me that if a man loves a woman, wild horses wouldn't keep him away from her. So! If he was telling me the truth, I don't think your fellow will mind the couple of hours it takes to get to see you. I think you shouldn't worry yourself about it right now. Just enjoy yourself and your time with him. If the traveling becomes an issue, then tell him you don't mind going up to see him. Good luck to you.

why can't u visit each other weekly? once a week sounds reasonable, and if both people re working and busy with their lives they can't meet more often anyway, even if they live 10 min from each other. now he is my current husband, but when we were dating he lived 12 min by car, we met once a week, cos i have 3 kids and go to gym and had to work so i absolutely didn't have time for him. so other people (unless they re teenagers of course) can't meet more often anyway

you could both visit, or met halfway sometimes to do things in a different town. Take it slow...you may need time to get to know him...what if he is married or an killer...you know what i mean..just take it slow and do not move in with him or let him move in with you....just to be closer.
