I have more experience with Lymphoma than I ever wanted. But, I'm still here. And treatment wasn't THAT bad. [bad, but not THAT bad] There are many different types. The type of chemo you get depends on the type of disease.
Here is a terrific site for info:

My brother just went through hodgkins lymphoma, he is 21 and now getting married. They Caught it at stage one because his girlfriend had a soar throat and he felt his lymphnodes to tell the difference his were swollen too and they checked it out caught it early. He had Four rounds of chemo I believe, and he didn't lose all his hair, but chemo affects everyone differently becuase he is a football player he was stronger going in and had built up a tolerance for pain ( he tore his acl etc.) he didn't find himself too nauseaous and towards the end was back at work, now we are just waiting four years to know that he's recovered. My thoughts are with you and your niece, good luck. P.S. If its hodgkins Mario Lemieux had it hes still here and he owns the penguins ( hockey team) and he was still playing hockey up until last year or the year before, its beatable.

Our niece had lymphoma. If the chemo doesn't work, they might suggest a bone marrow transplant. This kind of cancer can go into remission for long periods of time. If she has any problems with treatment, please tell her parents to contact St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. They're doing ground-breaking work in the field, and they never charge for treatment. I wish you and your family all the best.

HEY U'VE FOUND THE RIGHT PERSON.Although i'm not a professional, i DO have a friend that's a dietician who introducd to me the amazing cancer-killing weapon below.Since i've typed about NCD for countless times.I don't wanna type anymore and decided to copy a previous article chosen as best answer for u to read.I hope u will know more abt.the harmful treatments ur niece is going thru. You can see NCD as a natural treatment.NCD never guarantees that it can CURE all cancers but it guarantees to IMPROVE ALL OF THEM,yes ALL OF THEM AND MOST IMPORTANTLY,WITHOUT SIDE EFFECTS.Although the case below is a pancreatic cancer,it's just as effective to lymphoma. In additon,NCD can greatly improve cataracts and some mental illnesses.PLS READ ON.

Hey calm down. There are many ways to treat pancreatic cancer other than medicines. Why don't u try natural treatment. They cause no side effects, unlike medicines.Go check a natural health food product called NCD--Natural Cellular Defense--which was released in August 2005 in USA.It's still very new so many poeple don't know it yet. However, doctors have proved its amazing ability. They offered NCD treatments to about 75 different types of cancer patients including brain cancers, lungs cancers, kidney cancers, breast cancers. They were waiting for death after negative responses to surgeries and other common medical treatments. But then this NCD was a miracle to them. After taking the thing for about 2 to 3 months,65 of these patients have fully recovered from their cancers and this shocked the medical history for nothing other than medicines can have such a high curing rate--about 80 to 90 %--even higher than the most advanced medicines nowadays.
In Hong Kong where i live, there r uncountable cases of cancer patients who have recovered from or have great improvement on cancer. This NCD can cure all types of cancers. It's in fact a mineral substance emmitted from the volcanoes so it's 100%natural.There was a woman in St.Mary Hospital HK who had 4 types of cancers at the same time and was about to die after useless surgeries and harmful treatments that caused her dry mouth, loss of hair, weak bones that can snap every moment she walks and of coz great pain. She was then introduced to NCD.After about 3 months, she felt no pain anymore.Later, the medical report shocked the doctors by showing 87 % of her cancer cells were killed.
Yep that's it,u can check online about NCD or u can contact me at yield_life@yahoo.com.hk anytime u like so i can help u and ur mother like i've been doing to my family and friends.^_^God bless you.
