That's all it would take to make me rethink my position that global warming IS a real problem we need to address, so please cite references if you want to convert me to the side whose best argument so far seems to be "They think the sky is falling" and "well it was cold here last week".

Those reports should be from a peer reviewed jounal if they are worth the paper they are written on, BTW

Where have you read that human activity hasn't affected greenhouse gases or that climatic changes aren't affecting the planet where we live? I don't know the exact journals. BUT I do know that we as a humanity has affected our surroundings, by: clear-cutting of forests; strip-mining of natural resources; burning of entirely too much fossil fuels; and overpopulating what land there is... How can anyone think we haven't affected the climate?!
Recently I have been watching C-Span and reading a little more about the reports coming out about Global Climate change (global warming)...I honestly think that politicians and a select few don't want the responsibility of tackling this "major problem"...cause it would mean less moneys from those big businesses and others aren't looking at the bigger picture! One way or another this planet that we are a part of will retaliate by creating extreme weather changes, ultimately altering those that have turned a blind eye in first place.
"Global Warming" is a very real problem....whether or not that is the correct wording for it, "warming" I don't know!? But I do know that our seasons are changing, storms are getting worse, crops and migratory animals are becoming affected...with the threat of melt all the frozen fresh waters at the poles; something needs to be addressed before land where the majority of populations live is underwater or worse!
I am a little voice in this huge debate....will be affected one way or another!!!!

I agree with your position... But this is NOT the forum to present it. We're here to ask & answer questions- & you did neither! You're looking for a Soap Box, not an answer. There's lots of Blogs that would welcome your points of view... -check them out.
