In Hinduism the God's have revealed themselves to us in various forms like appearing in stone, coming out of the earth, in mud, etc. We believe in our Gods as much as Christians believe in Jesus. However we do not say ours is the only true religion. Why then do Christians say that. Also, Christians say that other religions' people will go to hell after they die and they will not be saved and blah blah... What if they were proved wrong? What will they do then? So who is right, Hindus or Christians?

One of the answerers has asked what has Hinduism done, like what miracles. Well, this bit of details is to tell him what miracles have happened.
People who believed in GOD (Not just were Hindu) have had their HANDS REGROWN BACK!
We Hindus have not had any messiah or anything nor has any person died for our sins. We believe that if we sin in life, we will pay for it in purgatory and then go to heaven. We believe they come to heaven with us, not go to hell. Any more comments? Thanks.

We believe that Christians and other religions come to heaven with us, not go to hell. How come other religions don't believe the same? WHY? It pains me to think this is so. Any more comments?

Most people here confused The Ramayana and Mahabharata as the Hindu holy books. It is not. It is THE GITA which is SOOO SIMILAR to the Bible.

And please, no answering with "This is the work of Satan or Demons" or such. I'm tired of seeing that. Something concrete please without "other religion bashing". How would you feel if all the other religions said Christianity is false (Which I know is not!)

Because God is not the author of confusion, but satan is. Satan is the father of lies. Therefore, any belief that points away from the cross of Christ has its origin in whom? Satan knows that people demand choice. People become furious when told they have to believe in Jesus Christ or perish. Well...alot do. So there are thousands of other "gods" out there for them to believe in. Except for one minor detail....there is only one way to the one true God, and that is Jesus. The truth of Christ is not the enemy. The one who tells you lies is.

Because Satan has dominion over this earth. Read Genesis. He came to deceive. And many have been deceived. But you have to understand that prophecy has been set out from the beginning of time that a savior would come to this earth to save man's soul because God loves us. Our disobedience got us thrown out of His grace. Jesus being sacrificed on a cross got us back into His grace. What seems right to a man is not necessarily what IS right. True righteousness. There is still so much prophecy being fulfilled, even today. I suggest that the world start looking more closely at the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation. All these technologies that had to be developed for the prophecies to come true are being realized and fulfilled. I would say Christianity is true, because, even though the book of Genesis was written long before Jesus, He was prophesied in the beginning. and when He was crucified, He fulfilled more than 300 prophecies. Who else has done that? How would John, 2000 years ago, be able to prophess that "all men" would see Jesus coming out of the clouds? What a great feat back then, but not so diffucult now! He who has ears to hear!!

I'm a Christian but hear me out!

God has revealed himself to us too, and sacrificed his son, Jesus, for us. He actually is gracious and forgives us. Many other religions work on a "you-get-what-you-deserve" system. Christianity doesn't. Our God forgives.

The reason we believe that God is the one true and only God is because he NEVER contradicts himself. Not once. People contradict him but never him. He is unwavering. Many other religions and the gods in them contradict eachother constantly or hate eachother. (If I worshiped more than one god it would be like going for both footy teams in the grand final!) A little confusing - don't you think?

I'm all into "inner-peace" and stuff like that. I found it in Jesus. It doesn't mean life is easy - it just means he is always with me to help me through - good times and bad. Then, if I muck up, he'll forgive me. He doesn't care about my past.

I know that Christians are right in that God is God. Other religions have not existed since the beginning of time and the Bible makes perfect sense to me. I pray you come to know God too - because he is amazing.

Other religions exist because they were created so that people had laws to follow and something to look up to - and to confuse people. God Bless!

get one thing right....Hinduism is NOT a religion. Its a philosophy!
The Ramayan and Mahabharata which the Hindu's uphold as holy books are not the same as wot the Christians have- THE BIBLE. The Ramayan and Mahabharata are EPICS. Do u know wot an epic is? Definition of epic (noun)
form: epics
a poem celebrating in formal verse the mythical achievements of great personages, heroes, etc
So they are basically myths. ANd the best part of the epic of Ramayana and MAhabharata being quite untrue is that it was memorised and taught to generations after generations. Its accuracy is pretty challenged.
Whereas, Christ walked the earth and excavations have found evidence. The prophesies of the Bible have all come true and are still coming true.
What have u to say abt that?
Hinduism have also a form of Demon worship. Whereas Christianity abhors it. Kali is a demon herself. She asks for blood and sacrifice. JEsus never asked for a sacrifice to cleanse ourselves or atone for our sins. HE gave up His life for us.
Think abt it!!

Hinduism is a much more tolerant religion. Christianity can't stand one bit of competition, and they've had their little exclusivity clause from the beginning. They created a magical supervillain named Satan, and anything that could possibly conflict with Christianity gets blamed on this character. Some of them actually believe that their devil is responsible for the creation of every other deity ever worshipped, without realizing how absolutely ridiculous it sounds.

I wouldn't worry about proving them wrong. Just continue in your faith, and know you're a better person.

I even have finally found out why maximum of possible sensible everybody is non secular, incredibly in the three Abrahamic faiths! it incredibly is the regulation of attrition--everybody who objected or substitute into genetically disposed to merchandise to all or any 3 of those faiths has been killed by the pious practitioners in earlier years! this suggests that our civilization counts so solidly on accepting those faiths 'as though' they're reporting info and authentic activities that we get considerable resistance at even thinking of asking regularly occurring validation questions approximately them! as an occasion, it incredibly is not customary to burn human beings on the stake for heresies against the Christian faith. yet word that the clarification isn't through fact Christians are too civilized to do such issues, it incredibly is incredibly through fact it incredibly is merely not mandatory to any extent further. The Christian headlock on very virtually all Western cultures and features on African and Asian ones means that the 'serious mass' factor substitute into reached some time past and 'heresies' do not even threaten the Church. Wow! This got here to me as a lightning bolt, inclusive of your question! My wager is which you will not get something yet gobbledygook or assertions that faith is the only game on the city incredibly than fairly severe solutions that dovetail with rationally explaining any of the non secular tenets those human beings carry expensive. it incredibly is through fact they be conscious of they're in the catbird seat, and no count how many info you have on your ingredient, or how lots reality you recent, they're in the means seat with the numbers to coach it! in basic terms a actual revelation, little question!

religion is a pathway which leads to one living GOD.
The LIVING GOD Is one who gives you An EVERLASTING LIFE.
Hinduism is true :Ramayana & Mahabharata are Epic tales those have actually happened on this earth.
answer 1 of my question:what is "MOKSHA"?
Hinduism suggests a very painful and lenghty path of redemption;on the other hand through CHRIST being the path and the redemption HIMSELF gives us: you and me and many others those are HIS children ;a very easy way to an EVERLASTING LIFE .
Even you want an everlasting life ,don't you?
so, its not a fight of /for religion but for an Everlasting life and redemption.
choose whatever religion u want to but be good to others and love one another as our father in heaven loves us.
GOD BLESS YOU.

So... you'll find out who's right when you die, I guess... I don't think you asked that for people to tell you whether Hinduism is wrong or right, did you? I think you know that it doesn't matter what people says.

I'm a Christian... and Jesus did say he is the only way to God, and I believe it. If I were wrong, I'll accept it. Gracefully. I'll be pretty disappointed if the thing I've been living for all my short fourteen years of my life is wrong.

But Jesus gave me the assurance that it is right, and, well, I trust him enough.

why don't you find out. Really! What have you got to lose except your life. Go ahead.....stay a Hindu! See if you will go to hell or not. Or if you said, well I'll investigate Jesus and you will find out that all that he said and did was real and true. Who in hinduism is like Jesus? No ONE! No one in hinduism brought the dead back to life, healed the sick, made the blind see and the deaf hear. No one died for your sins....I tell you my Hindu friend...Your sins will send you to hell.....Not God! Once you realize your sins and that Jesus died on the cross as your sin offering to God...Then you will give your life to him.

Matt

The answer is that human beings are arragont and egoistic creatures. If they cling to something, they'll put their whole life on it just to say "I'm right, you're wrong." Therefore it's only natural for one to uphold one's religion without thinking rationally of others and himself. To humans what matters is just they are right and will go to Heaven while others are wrong and will go to Hell. Basicly it's "If you go my way, we'll go to Heaven, but if you're not with me then you'll go to Hell."

Ego.
