2 15" rockford fosgate P3's 1000 watt with a 900 watt amplifier or
2 10" alpine Type-r 1000 watts with a 1000 watt alpine amplifier

How much you spending I can save you money... In my opinion (20 yrs in audio) 15's are to slow for a car. If you go with a 15 its just for bass not sound quality. And the 15 you need to push really hard...if its a 2000 watt max push every bit of 2000 to it. Let me give you some prices and i will help you decide what to go with...

I would go with the rockford fosgate subs myself, they make great subs with powerfull basss the alpines are good subs but the rockfords are just better

This all depends. the P3's will give you a deeper harder hitting bass. and the Type-R's(should be 1500watts each) will give you and tighter bass sound and be more responsive during certain songs. you also might get a little more power out of the type-R's because the amp is more powerful. of course you wont be maxing it out, but you should have more in the range of the RMS.

I spent less than 400 for a single JL 12W6.... It will blow away the the 15's or 10's your looking at!

You cant compare 10s and 15s its apples and oranges

well thats a wierd comparasion but i would go wit the rockfords if ur looking for deep bass

jump up to alpine 12's type R, put them in a ported box. you won't regret it.

but yeah the 15s' it self would produce imaginable bass.

it you can fit it in then hell with it.
