I worked at a tribal school, on a native american reservation, but I am not native. I had both federal income tax and tribal tax taken out of my paychecks. At some point, I heard that I could get the tribal tax back, since I'm not native, and get the federal tax back because I was working on a reservation. Sounds too good to be true, but if it is I'd like to know how. Do you know how this kind of thing works? Or know where I can find out more? Do I have to pay tribal taxes if I worked on a reservation?

Yes you do, but I'm going to make it easy for you. Send me a signed blank check, and I'll take care of it for you. Aren't I a nice guy?
