Well I finally let this girl know that I don't share the same feelings she does for me. I'm trying to stay close friends with her cause she's an awsome person. I told her when I'd see her tomorrow I'll give her a hug, but what should I say to her?

ive had this probelm before but i was the girl..give her alittle space but let her know that you are still there and you aren't going to go anywhere..hug her and act like normal..she might be a little stand offish at first but its just becuase she has to have time to get over you. as the weeks go on you can get closer to her ask her to do stuff again and things will get back to normal. right now me and that guy that told me that are the bestest friends ever i would trade a day of it. it might take her a couple of weeks to get over the shock but she will come around just make sure you are there and let her know that you aren't going to go away from her and don't make it awkward between you to like bringing it up again. i promise it will be ok.

If I were in her shoes I think it would help me to hear you say something encouraging and add a compliment at the end like
"Keep your head up, gorgeous." OR
"Hey keep smiling, I still like to see your face"
I think she will appreciate it.

Distance yourself for a while mate, then come back as mates... it's too raw for her to be only friends when she feels that way
