It doesn't hurt much. It's quick and relatively painless. Better than plucking for an hour. The wax is warm, not hot. And if you have sensitive skin like I do, DO NOT get your eyebrows waxed the day of or even the day before an important event. Get it done at least a few days in advance, your eyebrows will be red. And make sure you get it done in a reputable salon. Good luck. It doesn't really hurt.

It used to hurt just a little for a second or two when I first starting getting my eyebrows shaped - and I have very sensitive skin which always ends up in my eyebrow section looking very pink!! After time you do get used to it and if you get them done regularly they wont hurt or sting as much - best solution to calm the eye area down if you do have sensitive skin is to apply aloe vera every so often.
Get them done - it does make a difference and frames the face
Good luck!

I get my eyebrows waxed every month. i have had them waxed since i was 13 I am now 19 going on 20 and it still hurts me. I also have sensitive eyes/skin so my eyes water heaps when i get it done. Its not a pleasurable thing but it wont kill you either its just a quick rip of hair with hot wax - Thats all!

Everyone that told you that it will hurt are wimps. The first time i got my eyebrows waxed, it was uncomfortable. It just hurts for a second. The hot wax is not bad at all it does not hurt. The quick ripping is barely anything. Once you do it more and more, it doesn't hurt anymore.

hiya. it hurts, but for about a second. take ur best friend or boyfriend along with you so u can dig ur nails into their hand! it looks really good, takes a lot less time than plucking and it's done by professionals so the shape will be right for your face. it costs anywhere between £4.50 and £8. i started having mine waxed every four weeks when i was 14 and ive never missed one since. they always put on some soothing cream afterwards too so i shouldn't worry about sensitive skin. my little sis has sensitive skin and other than hers being a little pink for a couple of hours afterwards, she has them done every four weeks too. no worries.
g luck,

well u can always go to the people who use the new way with string instead of wax or tweezing. it is better than waxing and hirts way less. it feels like a light pinch but thats all. no wax so u dont have to worry about skin sensitivity

it wont hurt that bad and it happens so quick you dont dwell over the pain but if you have sensitive skin beware you may have really red skin for about 2 days like me. use witch hazel when your done and it will keep the redness and inflammation from getting out of control

well it hurts loads when they pull it but the pain is quick to go. in a way its better that tweezers an they take forever so the pain is longer drawn out where as waxing gets it over quickley

It hurts during your first few times.. but I dont think your skin will get irritated even if its sensitive. because your eyebrows doesnt really have dirt on it, nothing will be affected by the things that they use..
