i had my nipples pierced. i personally think they are cute, but i did have problems with them. they hurt alot and take forever to heal. i was always snagging them on clothes and such. my bf liked them at first then he said they were kinda gross and raunchy cuz sometimes you could see them through my shirt. they are safe if you keep them clean and if the person who pierces you is familiar with nipple piercing. hope this helps. oh yeah, cold weather pretty much makes you hurt, lol. but then at least you'll know what the weather is like?

I have had both of my nipples pierced twice and to tell you the truth it really wasn't anything big for me, I mean it didn't hurt that bad, but I did notice that I lost a bit of feeling in them afterwards. I wouldn't do it again though, I took them out when I got pregnant with my son and have no desire to get them redone. My fiance also had his done and he felt the same way about them as I did. Honestly don't waste your money on getting it done instead go get a cute tattoo or something. Also those neat little things that Janet Jackson had in her nipples hurt like hell when they are in because everything rubs up on it and it is just uncomfortable. Best of luck to you
Edited:: Also forgot to tell you this, both times I got them pierced I noticed something different with both of them each time. The first time I got both pierced the guy who did it did pierced them a bit far back and ended up causing something to happen where I bled really badly I mean it was pretty embaressing when I was out somewhere and you could see the blood on my shirt around the nipple area, it has bled through a padded bra, a tank tap, a fitted t-shirt and a bigger t-shirt, ( i was working at the time) and I ended up taking those out. A year later went back and got them done again. and had problems with those as well.
Marie ( the person who answered below me ) that actually is true, if you get pierced too far back it could interfere with the milk ducts that you could potentially need in the future.

Get BOTH of them done! I have my nipples pierced and I LOVE it. My boyfriend loves them too! I must warn you though, it hurts like a bitc*. Don't do it yourself though unless you are a professional, that way the pro can make sure they are straight, safe, and the needles used are th appropriate sterile needles. You should go for it, a few hours of pain for a lifetime of pleasure. Just remember, if you don't like it you can take it out too. And the only way a nipple piercing would interfere with breast feeding is if it is done incorrectly (not straight) it could cause your nipples to be inverted and then you will not be able to breast feed, but as long as you stick with a licensed clean sterile shop you'll be fine.

Some people think it's sexy. Personally, I don't find nipple rings on a man OR a woman sexy. That's just my personal opinion.

My sis has a nipple ring and she says its pretty safe. Although she has caught it on items of clothing in the past and has pulled and hurt like a b*tch!! They do look pretty cute too!

I think it is the most sexy piercing there is for a woman. Just make sure to keep the beads tight, or they will fall out. Mine did, and it ruined the piercing.

And as long as you go to a reputable piercer and take care of it, the piercing is VERY safe.

don't get this done at all,your only setting your self up for trouble later on.
I'm a RN and know,because i have seen them come in the er and it's not a very nice looking thing then they get hurt or pulled out or even infected.
do you want that to go with it?

yes they are cute and safe. i want mine done! but it does not effect breast feedling liek most people think. it is perfectly safe. the piercing does not damage the milk ducts in your breast. good luck! if you get them done tell me how it goes!
