Obama is in a zone right now. Until they find dirt on him, he is destined to become president, if not in 2008, probably in 2012; Bill Richardson, governor of NM, is hispanic, formerly UN Ambassador, and has worked with North Korea and also other nations under pressure situations. He's a good man, fair, very intelligent; Retired Gen. Colin Powell would be an outstanding president. He's honest, commanding presence, great leadership qualities, rational, & was fired for opposing Bush's Iraq War policies so showed some backbone at the expense of losing his job as Secretary of State; Condie Rice has grassroots appeal, is a scholar, even though I oppose her war policies, she is still popular; and Sen. John Warner of Virginia, while he is on the old side, he is a moderate, a compromiser, works well with the other party, is fair-minded, well-spoken & a former Secretary of the Navy. Those are some that come to mind.

Barak Obama. I would not vote for the guy but I admit he has charisma. He is slick in front of the cameras, knows how to behave to appeal to the general public and is being groomed by the newsies to seem extra appealing.

As for being a good political candidate based on fact and reason... Congressman Tom Tancredo. He is pro-American and speaks the truth plainly.
