Remembered on the 7th sign - the movie with Demi Moore? The world was about to end because of the evil and corruption that was going on in the world. There was no right or wrong religion. What if that's true?

So who is right then? The terriost - shiites (misspelled) muslims think what they are doing is right - pleasing to God. And we think we are right too. So someone has to be wrong.

We can say the terriost are wrong but they believe being a martyr is true salvation,

this is a very believable theory.

(this is just for humor, but) i don't think the people who wrote the bible had developed space travel yet, so i guess if christianity is true every other intelligent civilization in the universe is doomed because they never received their copy of the bible.

The starting point is to believe there is truth. If there is no truth then the statement there is no truth would also be untrue. Secondly all religions cannot be true as many of them are diametrically opposed to other religions. Can something be both true and untrue in the same time in the same manner? If so an example would be appreciated. If moral truth exists where did it come from? Is it possible to learn this moral truth? Is a matter worth looking into.

Hiya, I'm a muslim and let me say something 'ere.

That is not the point.

Lemme elaborate, the point of religion in this world is to give us a set of moral and for us to act orderly and behave. The truth is we do good not to get to Heaven or to see God, it's because that is right and what we should do, in the name of Order, Justice, Peace and Pizza. That is a religion, that is what all the religion in this world desires; Peace.

God is kind to those who are kind to others.

The world won't end because of evil and corruption and there is no right or wrong religion. The closest to truth is through science, and the most right "religion" according to science, is Atheism, the non-belief in religion.

if we are human we have human fears
fear is wrong ,we as human must accept most of that feared to be wrong
to act of human fear is wrong ,
we need only look at the world that is to see that humans believe .is of fear others concieved.

we have even made religions from it ,
you are spot on god is personal real or he is in a dead book
religiously people insist he is in words ,
words concieved of mens remembered fears.
we judge our words more right than others
ours are older
ours are this but god weeps that men use words to take lives even today ,there is no belief god would want any of his children to die for.

I didn't see that movie but I have a peace in my heart knowing that I have a personal relationship with God Almighty. If I'm wrong I don't see what I've lost. As far as "religion" goes...well...I personally hate that word. God doesn't desire for us to be "religious" He just wants to know us & be our Daddy & for us to be His children. How simple is that?

Wow....that's an old reference. lol It would be funny actually. All the people who just know they're right would probably be more than pi**ed. All that time wasted on bashing others down the drain. Oh well...

I think most are. They put limits on the divine that don't need to be there, and limit our trancendence. People would probably be a lot nicer without all these catagories to seperate them (AKA religons)

Yes. That is why every one should seek for the truth & not just believe. It is in your being to know. Don't you agree?
