well, here is the problem. how come there are some guys out there NEVER pay for meals when they go on a date?! even ask us, girls, to spilt the bill?? I dont get it, I mean I am not cheap and actually I dont mind paying at all but the thing is I just cant stand a guy wouldnt even pay for the meal or little things to just show us that they are the MAN. If he didnt even want to pay for the dinner or movie ticket, how I am supposed to know if he would pay for the diaper once we get married?!! (this might seem pretty off but it does make me caution about wuts is gonna happen) I am just confused, am I asking too much??

It's ok going dutch!.

But I'm old fashioned so usually I don't mind paying more often.

I usually pay when I go on dates, but I prefer to go dutch (that is, have the girl pay for half). I don't know where you're finding these guys who don't pay at all.

With that said, you have some sadly common but still outdated ideas about male female relationships!

Where do you get this backwards idea from? "I just cant stand a guy wouldnt even pay for the meal or little things to just show us that they are the MAN"

How does spending money on you "show you that they are the MAN"? What in the blue hell does a guy opening his wallet for you have to do with his masculinity?

What makes a guy a man is XY chromosones, testicles, a penis, facial hair and a large amount of testostorone in the bloodstream!

Spending money on a chick is just a contemporary social custom.

And where do you get this idea? "If he didnt even want to pay for the dinner or movie ticket, how I am supposed to know if he would pay for the diaper once we get married?!!"

I would HOPE that after your married that both you and your husband are working, so you can split the bills (including the cost of the diapers).

It's 2007 - women can make their own money, so get with the program.

No offense, but women like you make me very glad that I'm not married!!!

If it's his idea than he should pay and not expect you to pay anything unless he makes it clear before hand you're going to have to pay for yourself. If you ask him to do something than it's the same. Don't pay his way through life! Been there done that! If he won't pay than believe me it'll never change! Find a real man!

me being a guy i think the guy should pay most of the time. but since i'm gay and i go out with guy which one of us payes. see it is about the same. i also think at if a girl ask a guy out he should still pay. but like if a girl ask a guy out to prom then the girl should pay for the ticket and he should pay for the dinner

I think when you first start dating someone, the guy should pay. After you have gone out a few times, I think the woman should pay sometimes.

"hi adult adult males, why do you pay for women who are not your female chum?" simply by fact hookers are extra maximum reasonably-priced than girlfriends. As to something of your question, it makes us sense macho to pretend that all people we've is 20s, and that we do unlike exchange. to boot, they do such as you, and with the marvelous quantity of alcohol could gladly have intercourse with you.

It's a side-effect of gender equality. You have to take the good with the bad.
