How do you know that god has made u in his own image ? As per charles darwin, we have evolved from the lower primates, the apes. The bible and other holy books say that god has made us in his own image, but scientific study says otherwise. Lastly, who has seen the image of god ??

Assuming those words have any meaning at all, is there some reason to believe that those words have to be interpreted the way they typically are by Christians? For instance, a nose is in the image of the Mona Lisa.

Because He wanted a creation that He could relate to in Fellowship and Love. The only way to do that was make man in His likeness, and image - one that could chose, one that was intelligent, one that had an eternal soul.

Humans reproduce children in their own image....physically, culturally...etc!
God is the spiritual part of people....the same spiritual image.

Unless god is an ape he didnt because wa evolved from apes... Go here and watch the ducumentry for more info http://www.becominghuman.org/ and dont even say that people never evolved from apes because then your just naive. Every other animal evolved from other creatures and so did we... like it or not its true.

Because He is perfect and loving. But we're made in His image, not exactly like him, so we're not perfect.

That's very subjective...If he did make us in his image, then why are we so messed up? We're ruining the planet and destroying ourselves...Clearly, evolution makes more sense here.

Because he wants to communicate with us, and also he wants to adopt those of us who are obedient as sons to share eternity with Him.
