We live, we die, we make mistakes, we rise, we fall, we trust people, we doubt people but in the end everybody gets stabbed in the back, misinterpreted, misunderstood, loathed, betrayed, banned, killed, or destroyed by the people you thought you could trust, and excluding the possibility of the truthfullness of any religion, it amounts to nothing. What's the point?

Life's meaning is not pre-determined and planned out;You must find your own destiny and meaning; you must create it. You have something -- life, the here-now, the present -- and must make the best out of it. You must answer why you are here.

My opinion, I feel that the goal of life is simple. It is to thrive and be happy. None of us had a "choice" in whether or not we were born, but now that we are alive we have the power to either enjoy it or end it. If you find yourself in a situation, you should strive to make the best of it. Increase your happiness. Have fun with things. If you're going to be alive anyways, you might as well have a good time while you're at it.

purpose of life is to evolve, the offspring should be better than the parent. We suffer, we strive, we work hard so that our children have a better deal, they come up in life. We learn by making mistakes, and gain experience. This experience we passs it on to generations to come. We are today, because of our ancestors. The main things is to forge ahead, do action, inspite of all failures.

Unfortunately my friend, no human can answer that for you. If you don't believe in God, try for one night to be curious as to whether there REALLY is one or not. Ask Him if He is really there, and if everybody who believes in God is wrong, nothing will happen and you'll continue on the same exact way. BUT, if they aren't wrong and God is truly real, you'll know it and He'll tell you what your purpose is. And trust me, it won't be some crazy impossible life-long mission. Go for it ;)

The purpose of life is to live God's way and bring others to his love. Having God in your life and becoming a Christian gives purpose to your life. If you don't have Him, your life is just nothing and you will go to hell in the end. Accept Jesus as you Savior. Everyones a sinner, and need forgiveness. Jesus did this by dying on the cross to cover your sins. Accept this and you will be in heaven for eternity. Live your life by God's commandments.

You might think I'm some crazy psycho religious person.

Your right I am. I'm living my life for God and you should too. I'm crazy for God, I'm on a 'high' for Lord. Pray to God for forgiveness of your sins.

Purpose of life and point for living? To worship God, to praise God, to have a relationship with God. We are the one creation that God loves so much that's why he created us with choice. Imagine if we were created and God forced us to love Him whether we like it or not? Or He created us to just not love him but then just know about him? We were created and we know right and wrong, satan and God, in the end it's your decision, why? Because if you choose to love Him it's pleasing to him and you appreciate him and that's what he wants, a relationship, communion with Him. He wants a relationship based on trust, that's what he wants.

I think that you covered a fair number of the points, although religion definitely should be grouped with the backstabbers and father-rapers.

What more reason could you want?

Isn't that exciting enough for you?

that's a bit of a negative view.

you also get loved, kissed, appreciated, comforted, hugged, thought of, etc. etc.

There is no 'point' to life as you would like it (is it a goal or finish line somewhere? a condition that makes you 'win' at life?) because nature doesn't work that way.

On the other hand, this means you are free to assign any point you like. Choose one or a few that make you happy and go from there.

Sounds like you got it all wrapped up. Next time you might try actually asking a question you wanted an answer for.

Jesus said it quite eloquently when he quoted the Hebrew Scriptures and said, “You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart, your whole mind your whole strength and your whole soul. And you must love your neighbor as yourself."
Jehovah's Witnesses are not perfect, we make mistakes when dealing with others and our fellow belivers, but we "try" to fix it when we do make mistakes.
