You might not want to get this pricey, but Clarins has something you can put on overnight and you'll start seeing some pretty drastic effects after a week. It's their normalizing night gel and when you wake up in the morning any aggravated pimples that you have will be less swollen and red PLUS it helps keep skin less oily during the day too.

I usually put ice on pimples to get rid of the swelling and redness.

Use a facial mask such as Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask, it shrinks pimples so you can use makeup to cover up the pimple. I heard using toothpaste works too.

I use an ice cube. I just place it on the area for 2 or 3 minutes. Don't leave it on your skin for much longer than that, because the ice can cause redness as well.

Mary Kay has a yellow concealer that works wonders. You wouldn't think of that color! However, the yellow actually neutralizes the red. Then apply foundation and makeup as usual.
Try it! ; )

people used to say visine -- but i tried it & it doesn't work. sounds too easy anyway, doesn't it? the best thing you can do is leave it alone. if you NEED to put something on it- ice will help swelling, but will make color twice as bad. It will clear :)

well after my first time, the lady told me that i should lightly scrub(and i mean really light) an ice.... so that the swelling and redness stops.... it also helps people who have oily face.... and lastly, it closes your pores so that it would not get clogged
