I do very much those were the happiest times being a child I had 4 older brothers and and older sister we were always together I remember all getting in the car (we had a station wagon I always got to sit in the front between my mom and dad)and just going for long rides in the summer every Christmas my mom and dad took us to chicago to see the lights it seems like every weekend we had a picnic in a park some where, Thursdays was my dad's day off from work and we always went out to dinner when I was growing up family was always our life I come from a very big family mom had 15 brothers and sisters and dad had 4 brothers and sisters so holidays and special ocassions were never lonley now that I'm older I still have my mom but my dad is gone and I am trying to give my kids the sense of family and security that I had growing up

Yes and No. Yes because life was somewhat easier then than it is now!! No bills, no troubles, no worries. No because my mom died when I was ten and I was the youngest of 5 kids and my siblings were all older than I and on their own so some bad things happened that I want to forget.

No. I had little control over my life, and now I have a lot. I do what I want when I want. I do have to be a grownup and pay bills, but I also get to spend my money the way I want. I have much more choice now, I would not choose to go back.

Yes, I miss it. I wish my grandparents were still alive. I had lots of fun playing outside in the summer. I had a lot to look forward to. The world wasn't such a messed up place (as far as I knew).

No. While there were good memories aplenty, there were also many difficulties with an abusive family member... there was so much that left me with lifelong insecurity issues... No, I don't miss it at all. Am older and wiser, and happily, independent.

no...my mother molested me when I was small, then mentally and physically abused me till I was a teenager and could fight back, then my Dad decided it was HIS turn to molest me, but I gave him a gut shot with my elbow and told him if he touched me any more, I'd turn his *** in...(they're both dead...good riddence to bad rubish.)
