If you've already decided to move there, what's with the excitement? ;) I've been to the apts a few times, they're quite nice and in good condition. It's a gated area, so it seems secure. Very conveniently located across the street from The Grove shopping mall/Farmer's Market and a Whole Foods and easy driving distance to Hollywood, west side, etc. I see why people would choose to live there, no hassle in apt hunting and you know what you're getting (kind of like starbucks) but if you're going to live in LA for a while, perhaps after you get there you'll want to start looking for a place a little more you and not so cookie-cutter. Good luck in LA!

long coastline is nearly between, a practice +commute bus journey to USC, and not too faraway from Disneyland. you will discover a house to purchase in this selection, yet no longer a fancy one, in a community that meets your standards, as there's a huge college in LB, too. MANY USC human beings stay in Pasadena, which does no longer do lots for the Disneyland end of issues, even though it remains in basic terms a 40 5-minutepersistent away (my husband labored there as an architect for the period of their final enormous development challenge). different appropriate neighborhoods so you might envision out are Silverlake, Echo Park, Los Feliz, Santa Monica, West Adams, Glendale, Eagle Rock, Mount Washington, the Hollywood Hills, Burbank, the San Fernando Valley, the South Bay. you will discover decrease priced homes to purchase or hire in case you look sufficient. although, my large concern is your final criterion. maximum professional neighborhoods are completely built-at contemporary. homes in generally Asian factors run nicely over $500,000 accepted, my Hispanic colleagues here on the college the place I artwork all stay in homes nicely worth a minimum of $800,000. Our African-American opposite numbers, the comparable, and my own Caucasian, Asian, Hispanic, and African-American expert friends, gay and promptly, Christian, Jew, Moslem, and Hindu, and that i could no longer locate the funds for to purchase our own homes returned, throughout $a million million and a few lots greater. the mixture is what's so large approximately l. a.. perhaps USC isn't for you! there remains time to re-examine it!
