You are repeating Pascal's wager. Consider the following:
1) Which god do you mean? Since there are over 2000 different gods, some who would really be mad if you worshipped the other, which god would you have me believe? And if I believed the wrong one, and the real god was one of those who got mad, then you would have gotten me in big trouble.
2) Do you think your god would think kindly on someone who only believed in him for the potential gain? Do you think your god can be so easily scammed?
The real reason not to believe in god is because there is absolutely no reason to believe in something that does not have any evidence to support its existence.

Pascal's Wager? I believe in God and am a Christian, but honestly,
this arguement isn't a very good one. Like, what if you were believing in the wrong God?
God, the Christian God and the only God, is indeed awesome, though.

What if I'm wrong and the fellowship, joy, and happiness I am experiencing is for a false god?
What if you're wrong, and God is real?
Is it worth it?

pascal's wager. i'll pass. you lose the ability to think for yourself and live your own life. maybe i want to have anal sex with my girlfriend out of wedlock and smoke pot and masturbate and get tattooed and pierced. i would be giving up the ability to do the things i want to do, and therefore i would've lost everything.

YES! Exactly. Believers, if they die and God doesn't exist, lose nothing, but non-believers, when they die, if they don't believe and God exists, then they lose everything. Which would you rather?
