It sucks. The only advice I can give is to keep your dignity. Don't call her and beg her back; you only look desperate and pathetic. Also, don't slam her to your friends. It will get back to her and again you look pathetic. Distraction is the best way to go. Hang out with your friends, go to the gym, etc.

It hurts like hell.
It doesn't matter who decides to end the relationship. It hurts no matter what because the relationship is ending due to the fact that something's not right.
Love hurts no matter what, but it's a risk that we take.
If you're going to break up with someone, try to keep it civil. Well, try anyways. End it on good terms because you really don't want to deal wih the evil eye that you'd get everything you pass each other. If the other person starts to make false accusations, stand your ground and don't let him/her walk all over you.
be true to yourself. Some breakups are bad, some are mutual. It depends on the people and why they're breaking up.

I wouldnt be curious to know what it is it like.
No different than to ask so what does a bullet shot in your chest like?
Both are painful, some can survive and move on, some cant.
No words to actually describe it, best to hope it happens to someone else instead of you.
Most have no need to bring up old hurts to respond in detail.

It is no fun. i felt like i had a weight on my chest and had trouble breathing. Sometimes there is depression. It is even worse if you have to see the person on a regular basis like at school or work. i will say that, while i carry memories of all my past beaus around with me (not all the good ones, either), they have made me into the strong woman that i am today. The pain DOES pass eventually. And sometimes it takes years.

Well, breaking up is difficult for some people, and others might take it pretty easy. It depends on how emotionally you really are and if you can control your feelings. Some couples fight, argue, and it turns into turmoil. But you can't really tell, you'll know how its like when your in a relationship.

It makes you feel like you are less than worthless, that you would consider anything to have things back the way they were, you think you must be ugly and horrible and convince yourself you will die alone. You don't want to get up in the morning, you cry just think about them, you hate yourself and wish you could hate them too just so you could feel anything other than pain. It makes you do stupid things because you actually consider that death would be better. I could go on and on but all in all it really sucks.

It's like having your heart ripped out. Stomped on and the set on fire. I was in a relationship for 5 yrs and when we broke up it took me 2 yrs to really get over him and the pain he caused. You really do go thru the different stages of grief.

the pain feels like its never going to end...like youd rather die...and sometimes the dump-er doesnt give you a complete answer why...that raises questions that will never be answered...and you get more frusterated and makes you think that youll never feel the warmth of being loved ever again..like your not worth anything to anyone...not even to the person you love the most......

You feel like your entire world is finished all because one person has taken a smaller role in your life. It's pathetic if you really look back on it.
