A score like that is slightly above average.

I took the test myself got about 140 or so. Didn't qualify for their society thing. It's not a scam because they're not cheating anyone but I don't quite understand why I would pay to be part of a high iq society when there's already an international association (MENSA), which in my opinion is a more reliable standard for IQ related things, and also an established organisation in this field.

Anyway, online IQ tests are fun, especially free ones. I did another at http://www.goiqtest.com/
Didn't do that badly. As for the accuracy and even the definition of IQ, recently there's been a lot of debate that you might want to read about. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IQ
I gave it a read, found it quite interesting, explained quite a lot.

Did you take a real one or just an online one? The online one's aren't very accurate but you could assume you are at least above average. If you really wanted to know what your iq is you would have to pay for it at a medical school or something. Your IQ is your ability to retain and understand information. Someone who has a higher IQ would get (example) Algebra faster than someone with a lower IQ. Yet that doesn't mean you are 'smart' or not. There are several personality qualities that people with lower IQ's could have. Congrats on 123=)

That's pretty good - above average. About 20% of the US population has an IQ between 110 and 125, whereas around 50% have an IQ between 90 and 110. Roughly 5% of the US population has an IQ of 125 or greater.

ctually, the IQ score isn't affected by the age. It is like a percentage of smartness of how people your age should be off. For example, if you have the score of 100, that means that your IQ is the of the perfect standard as it should be. You would be considered as a genius if you have the IQ score of 150, which means that your IQ is one and a half times your age. IF you are a 20 years old with a 150 IQ, it means that you have the IQ of a 30 year old.

But there many tests nowadays, so, the result might not be 100% accurate.

That score is good for any age; 100 is the median. However, online IQ tests aren't extremely reliable. Better results would come from a test administered by a professional.

I do not think age is a determining factor to IQ, however test are subject to error and some may argue that an IQ test is culture biased.
