If you are looking for an experience based on feelings, emotions you are setting yourself for possible disappointment. Instead of seeking to feel His presence, seek Him. Human emotions are fickle, subject to change. When you have a best friend, do you seek them for an emotional experience? or do you seek them for who they are? Seek GOD and get to know him regardless of your feelings.
GOD is omnipresent and we are not always going to feel His presence but we can have the assurance that he's there. In a nut shell, GOD is more concerned that you trust Him than you feel Him. It's faith that pleases Him most.

Dude,
God's presence is there whether you feel it or not.
You cannot congure up a feeling.
If you have asked forgiveness for any sins in your life and you want to feel God, he will allow you to feel his presence. When it comes, it is so... amazing.
It is like grace...
quit peace...
love...
that is basically what it feels like...
But we should not base ur relationship with God based upon how we feel...
we should basde it upon faith... and love in actions...
Then we may not be tossed up an down by emotions....
Gods' presence.... the Holy Spirit... is not an emotion... it is supernatural substince... it is God's presense..
To tell u the truth... there are different levels of intensity of His presense....
Sounding crazy here.... but there is.... I think that is annointing or something...
When you feel God's manifest presence.... as I have once....
It feels like the atmosphere is thick.... think heavy air... no not air... His presense...
and the gravity is heavyier....
It is amazing....
And I didn't do any amazing things or preach a sermon, or read the whole Bible....
God just.. suprised me... I was like..... "what in the word?"
But u can tell when it is God..... I knew what I felt was God.... So I was not afraid.... and when his presense faded.... I was like....
"Whoa"
No I didn't smoke anything, and no I am not on drugs and no I am not crazy, and no I am not delusonal.....
It was just God.
It happedn a few years ago...
I will never forget the experience.
I wish I could feel God more.... but I know he is there when I don't feel anything...
There is no suggestion... God just allows you to feel him .... ask Him... he will show himself to you.

A newborn child is a miracle, love, healing, etc. The volume is turned up on high for the small miracles that occur where I can feel the presence of God working in my life. Some people choose to have the volume turned low. I am a changed person and have given my life to Christ.

Your question is valid. Pay no mind to these nattering nabobs of negativity. First---pray. Pray for what you want. Pray without ceasing. God will not overwhelm anyone. If you pray and pray and don't feel anything, ask God to come to you in dreams. it's easier to feel god's presence in dreams because we're closer to the spiritual plane in those moments. I also suggest you study on the method of meditation that suits you. Meditation is a powerful medium. God will guide you. That's God's promise. That's why we have free will; so we can freely accept. The most powerful word Jesus ever spoke was "Ephetpha." It means open up.

Is there really a need to invoke? God is everywhere, you just have to tune into His presence. In every atom his essence resonates, you only need to look around to see and feel God everywhere.
That's really all you need to know.

You could try and take some mind-numbing psychedelic drugs, undergo hypnosis, or the like, and you could feel the presence of anything or anyone, including Elvis.
