whats a good age for yong girls to start shaveing there legs??

I let my daughter start shaving at 8. I know that seems very young, but she really needed to. She had very dark hair and it was getting rather long. I'm sure people on here would think that was terrible of me, but believe me it saved her from the teasing that was already starting. Just go with your gut, no one ever needed a shrink for starting to shave to soon. Trust your maternal instinct...Good Luck!

I think i started shaving around 10 or 11 but I don't know when girls are starting to shaving these days.

Whenever they are mature enough to realize they are going to have to start shaving their legs on a regular basis. I started to young because I wanted to be "grown up" and after a few months of doing it, I hated it. They just need to realize that once you shave that first time, the hair still start growing back thicker, darker and longer.

when they start feeling self conscious about it. I always had black corse hair on my legs so when I was around 10 I really started to feel awful about it. My mother let me start shaving them because I had become embarrased about it. I think it depends on the child and the color and thickness of the hair. Some girls don't need to do it till teen years, some earlier. The best bet is to talk about it and get the girl's view on it. You may find that they hadn't even noticed any hair on their legs or you may find out that they noticed but didn't know how to tell you about it.

When their legs start growing dark hair. Otherwise theres no point. They usually start to get hairy legs when they start their period which can be anywhere from 10-15, but usually more around 12 or 13.

12 or 13 is a good answer. Many girls start shaving their pubic hair at 12 or 13 too. Pubic hair can be unsanitary. A lot of women shave their pubic hair because of that.

I started at puberty I let my daughters start when they hair was dark enough to see
its something you need to talk over with her and why she wants to and how she feels about it let her know once she starts its a have to not a want to thing

i started when i started my period so around 12. also consider earlier if they get made funn of for having " hairy legs"
