are book titles underlined in spanish?? what things are not capitalized in spanish that are in english? what about in book titles (i.e. is "el" or "en" capitalized?), like don quixote de la mancha?

months, languages, nationalities, days of the week, and seasons are all not capitalized. books are not underlined that i know of, I've always seen them italicized w/only the first word capitalized

ex: Ayer leí La hija de la fortuna.

I think it would be Don Quixote de la Mancha, but only because it's a name.

they are speaking english because they think the others can't speak spanish most likely there is no embarrassment in being able to speak 2 languages it's quite a good skill to have in fact if I spoke german and was with people who probably did not, I would speak english around them just to be understood, same thing

Your previous answer is correct. Pretty much anything we consider a proper noun is not capitalized. However, I usually capitalize anyway.

elfusilado is right. But like Mr_fire_ice says I usually capitalized them too.
