I used Windows Movie Maker once to edit something which I'm quite proud of. Now many friends want a copy, but don't have the software. Can I convert the file into an avi or other, standard file type?

Like the above poster pointed out, SUPER © will convert and it is free. So will Riverpast's Video Cleaner, but this is a commercial application, so you will have to pay. I like Video Cleaner because it will convert the flv files you can get from YouTube. A good free site for converting formats is at http://www.videohelp.com/convert There is tons of good info...so helpful even I donated to it (and I'm cheap!).

Good luck.
