An open relationship commonly refers to a relationship where the couple is not sexually exclusive. That may mean that they have group sex together (and with other people) or that they have sex with others without their partner present.

Depends on the couples translation of an open relationship....each is different ..it could mean they are able to freely speak thier minds to each other...or it coud mean hey we swing!

pretty much a whole bunch of usage. no one is really in it for love they just some one to have a back up plan if it mis-fires. hence why they leave it open, that way there is no pressure.
