I have stored some images in a word document(for reducing the file size rather when stored as an JPEG . Is it possible for the Picassa(which when installed gives a screen indicating all the photos or images stored in the PC) to identify the photos in the word document also? I need this information very URGENTLY. So someone answer me.

Your images in the word document are actually stored in an image format that picassa should be able to find. So, take a look at everything Picassa found and you should find thowe images.
