Depends on what her priorities are, but if it were me, (and I am a much older gal) I'd look for a sensible, warm, honest and a good charcatered guy. Strike a balance between showing her your interest but at the same time, being busy in your life. This way she knows u r a sensible, hardworking, balanced guy who has other passions in life. Humor always helps, and be cool n easygoing. Don't pressure her. Ultimately, apart from keeping this in mind, u be yourself. She does have to like you for you.

Be nice. Listen to her. If she says she love horses and later in the conversation ask if she rides horses often or if she has one. (Thats an example.) DO NOT BE COCKY. That is the biggest turn off for me and all my friends. Act like you don't care what people think (Dont tell.. show.) Don't be a freak but be yourself. Maybe if flirt a little.

Be yourself for a start.
Find out if you hang out
at the same places, like the same things, etc....
But the key thing is to be yourself as, from
my point of view, that is the best way someone
will impress me :)

U dont get her to like you and you dont try to impress her. You dont do anything, but be yourself buddy. And being a year older has nothing to do with anything. Talk to her, listen to her, and have fun with her. Good luck on all that.

YOU DONT!
dont try to impress because then you will look desperate and maybe even weird!
just be confident and if you did happen to talk to her give her a compliment that is completely different then what you think she's already heard. For instance: she has really nice hair or eyes,
dont tell her that! I garantee she already knows it. but maybe you can tell her that she has a really nice laugh or something different like that. The best pick up line I ever had was a guy who I wasnt interested in at all and I ended up going out with him for a year.
He came up to me with his "friend" and told me that his friend was interested in my friend and started asking me questions about her. then while they went to talk we started talking and he was genuine and really nice. he was funny but it wasnt forced and he made laugh so I went out with him. His friend was never interested in my friend by the way... that was just to break the ice!
best line ever!
in the mean time: if its ment to be it will happen. you need to be confident and think about your life and whats ahead first then the ladies will follow. beleive me.

- Show her what you are good at, maybe like sports or a guitar, or something...
- tell her something that is very important to you.. like i love music, its my life.... i love football ! or whatever...
- Dont be all "im always available"-ish and dont be all sappy romantic just to impress her...
- But show her ur soft side and here and there imply that u really like her but in an indirect way.. like flirting
- Show how much you have in ur brain

Be Yourself AND BE CONFIDENT
CONFIDENCE IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO if you have it good. If not pretend.
