For the ladies: Can you translate this for me?
Met a girl who trained me at an old job of mine. Ever since, we'd have deep convos where she'd usually call me, and confide in me about a lot for hours on end. She also would laugh at things I didn't mean to be funny, and was apologetic alot when she didn't need to be. She would also call me up during a holiday and also spent 5 hours on the phone with me the other night, apologizing saying how she had been busy because of her job.
She does have a boyfriend though, that's why I'm not pushing it. They been together for 4 years, but she'll tell me that it's not the greatest, and when she goes over there she makes it sound like its a night job rather than spending time with him. She also says to me that she's faithful.
What is it that's going on......exactly? Is there more to it than can be assumed already?
BTW, here relationship is on the outs and she's telling me she's getting rid of him soon. I asked her to my work's christmas party, which she apologetically never got back to me abo

Sounds like she'd like to keep you on a string. If she was done with the guy, he'd be gone. If she really wanted you, she would've told you. Any guy who will stay on the phone with us for five hours we basically know we've got where we want him. If I had a nickel for every guy (or girl for that matter) that told me they were waiting for this perfect person "who's getting rid of their (insert gender here) soon", I'd be the wealthiest person alive. Move on, bro. The only way this girl is going to come after you is if you don't make yourself so available to her. And of course, don't waste your time until she actually DOES dump the boyfriend. Something tells me that he'll still be around a month from now, though.....Good luck, anyway, go find a girl who wants you now, not later!!

All ladies should have a friend like you. you must be a very understanding and descent person. For now, I would just let it keep happening the way it is. If she dumps the guy, then ask her out to have some fun. This way, she and you want feel as if you broke up her relationship. let her come to you.

I think she wants you but is afraid of leaving a long term relationship. But i think if you began to show less interest in her and a little bit more on the other girls around you then she would have to make up her mind and either move in on you or let go.

Why hasn't she left him yet?
Don't buy the stories about them not getting along, etc., etc.
If she wants to be with you, then she needs to end her present relationship. Don't let her keep giving excuses. You might find yourself waiting for nothing.

usually if a girl is in a long term relationship, and shes doing somthing like this where she confides in you and NOT her boyfrined, it means shes having trouble in her own relatinoship and she may just be bored or tired or mad at her own boyfreind.
but wait, and take her word for it. you dont want to push it..dont pull anything until she breaks up with him. i know this sounds cruel, but she may be confidining in you because shes having problems with him. i dont exactly know whats going on but id say if shes a good freind to you just keep being there for her like a freind should
if you guys are meant to date itll work out

I would assume she see's you as a great friend--as you have been-not everything between men and woman has to be a sexual relatiomship-she obviously wanted to let u know when she didn't go to ur x-mas party--you are friends--no sexual benifits--but heart-to-heart advice benefits.

your the spring board.... the next guy. she doesn't want to break up with her old boyfriend until she's sure she has another in tow. she's insecure and doesn't want to be alone. it's as if she's scared, not to have a boyfriend. make sure she has made a clean break from the "old guy" before you hook up.

Play hard to get. Get angry at her a lot for little things. Thats how you get control in a relationship - she seems to be a clingy chick - she'll want to try to please you harder - this being the case get angry at her for little things and have that be your bait for control.
These tips are failsafe.
Good luck you buddy
