Ive been talking to a guy from myspace over the phone. he is a in Iraq in the US army. even though i never met him, i fell in love! today i got a call from one of his friends telling me that he was killed. ive never loved anyone like i loved him. i dont know what to do. i have no way to attend a funeral cuz hes from another state. can some one try to make me feel better. i dont even know if he new how i felt about him. :(

That is terrible, I am very sorry to hear about this. I know it may seem like things will not get better, but they will. I know you wont believe me now, but trust me I have been in your shoes and time will strengthen your pain. I know most people say "time will heal your pain", but that is a lie, if you were truly in love, it will not heal, but it will make you stronger. You will move on and things will get easier - all in time. I know this may seem silly, but talk to him - he can here you now- tell him how you felt.

When men die in wars it hard on the family. I can understand your feeling to the gentleman. It would be very uncomfortable for you to show up for the funeral when you only met over the Internet. You can pray to Jesus Christ and ask him for grace for your love sick heart. You will go on with your life. He might even be praying for you too.

Grieving is normal and a process that takes time.Just feel it and in time you will feel better. You can send flowers if you can not attend the funeral. Sorry that we lost another young man over there.

hun i know its hard my best friend was just wonded over there and came home save but urs did not all u can do is try to move forward and write a letter to his parents and let them know how u felt and that u had talk to him alot it will help them and u. the only other thing u can do is write a letter and read it out load and tell him how u feel trust me he will get the message.

Pray about it. Believe that he did know how you felt about. Do things to take your mind off of it. Stay around ppl. Dont be alone too much. Just remember the good things that you knew about him.
