As far as I remember in my studies-Angels were created as the go between for Man by God.One of the reasons that Lucifer, who was God's favorite Angel , got thrown out of Heaven is because his Pride would not allow him to serve Mankind.Hence, he was banned from heaven. Angels are always Angels.Only Man can become a different being if at all.I.E. Saints.

Angels, we know from reading the Bible, that they were all men. God created the Angels to help him start life and such. They were like his "right-hand men". They followed and believed in him. The reason Satan was cast out of heaven was because he tried to stand up to God and thought that he had more power. Obviously not!" So, I do believe there are angels. Not so much like in the "City of Angels" movie, where they are with you at the store and stuff. I think that they are more like you conscience, or the Holy Spirit could be Angels.

Angels were created by God to help us from Heaven. They were never human although their image could be considered human so we have something we can recognize. We cannot become angels. If we could become angels, then it is no longer Heaven because we essentially would become almost gods ourselves and that is not what Heaven is about.

The Angles home is in the heavens. They took human form for 2 reasons. 1) Some came here and took as many women as they could for the pro-creation purpose and when the deluge came, they were forced to abandon their wives and children and return to the spirit realm, never to be allowed to return in the flesh again.
2) Some came to earth, took the from of men because they were here to do Jehovah's will and to have a physical body would insure people that they were really from Jehovah and not of the demon world.

It depends on what you call "angels" of course.
Everyone (every "being" as it were) has a spirit. But we are at different stages in our existence.
We existed as spirits before we were born. When we were born our spirits were connected with mortal bodies and that is the condition you and I are in right now. At death, our spirits will leave our bodies and after a time we will be resurrected, meaning that our spirits and bodies will be reunited in immortal form.

Therefore, some "angels" are spirits who have not yet been resurrected, and some "angels" are people who have been resurrected. I suppose it is also possible to consider spirits who have not yet been born "angels" as well.
