No I don't pray for him because I'm a Buddhist. However I feel for him. He has the weight of a country on his sholders, and he is the only one willing to make a solid decision on anything. If you think about it the Democrats don't want a surge of troops, yet they won't set a solid awnser. This is the same man that lead the country through 9/11. The same one who provided leadership in the war on terror. The same one who has balaced the budget while waging war. And while we have lost 3000 soldiers the enemy has lost hundreds of thousands, in a span of four years. I'm a soldier myself and while war is totally against my religion I gladly fight for the other 70% of the country who are unwilling to do so, but more than willing to protest everything we do. After going to Iraq I think we are the most spoiled country on the planet. You can speak out agaist your goverment while driving state to state without having to present Identification at the border. All the while sleeping in afordable hotels with electricity, running water, and an airconditioner that will freeze you out. At the begining of the war with Iraq 75% of the country was with out running water or electricity. Now most homes have it. If people don't agree with me then they are simply uneducated. They need to turn off thier tv's and use the "NewYork Times" to line thier bird cages. They only report bad news, because it is what sells. I hope your not offended by my awnser. Peace, love and prosperity be with you.

The Word tells ya to pray for him, so, if ya love The Lord, you'll do it.Remember, die to the flesh, live in the Spirit. I'm thinking ya haven't read, or studied The Bible. There are many examples as to what The Almighty is up to here. Back in 11/11/1620, (5 ones in a row)the landing pilgrims made a written covenant with The Almighty, stating this nation would be built, and ran on the precipes and principles of the gospels of Yeshua,(Lord Jesus Christ). We, have not kept our end of the covenant. Amazing, the O.T. tells us time, and time again, how The Almighty used Israel's enemies to destroy her immoral conduct, and them turning away from The Almighty. Now, just look at the good ol' US of A, and what do ya see? Abortion, gay, immoral conduct, corrupt politicians, etc., and we think we are "above" His chosen???? Not hardly, He is using the foolish to destroy our nation for not keeping covenant with Him. Don't think so? Just read Jeremiah 11:1-11;( 5 ones in a row, hmmm!), and see what The Creator of all does when ya don't hold up your end of the deal. So, what to pray for? That the scales would fall from the eyes of the liberals, and The Pres. would have the same happen to him, other than that, be prepared, it ain't gonna be pretty, unless we repent, and turn.We ain't seen nothing- - - yet!

I pray for George W. I've also prayed for Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan, and Carter. I've never completely agreed or completely disagreed with any any of them. It's usually a mixture. Being in their position is a tough job and I pray that they may have guidance and peace. I support every president that is elected into office because that is who the people voted for---whether or not I agree with all of their policies is beside the point. I vote. If my choice wins, that's great. If not, that's okay too. I will still pray for and support whoever is given the responsibility of being our president.

I am more in favor with the democratic party when it comes to the presidential election. However, i believe that prayer is a powerful tool that can give the president a backbone in case of a no way out. What I find fascinating is the fact that the president believes that there is someone with more power than him. Yeah, we all don't agree with certain things he says, but the least we could do is pray for him!

Yes, I pray for him even when I don't agree. I pray God will guide Him according to His will and purpose. Sometimes I'm not sure what that is, but God has everything under control. I prayed for Clinton even when he turned me off. I respect President Bush. I also pray for his staff and both parties. There is a Bible verse that says God has the king's heart in His hand and as the rivers of water He turns it whithersoever He will .Prov. 21:1 I figure if He has the king's heart in His hand He also has the President's heart in His hand. Also the Bible encourages us to pray for all in authority. When I disagree I pray the hardest for God's will. The men and women in service certainly need our prayers.

Nope. He's a horrible president and not a very good person either. Just look up his record. He was arrested for DUI twice, he dodged the draft and then claimed that he served, then he took power as the US president and started a war that has so far displaced millions and killed up to 650,000 civilians. I'm sorry, I don't pray for these evil men.
I don't think that you're a bad person, I just think that you're mislead. You may not realize it now, but you might in the future and you may not at all.

I would pray for any president actually. I support him as a president but I would pray for him regardless of how i felt about him. He has a hard job and people are quick to criticize him, he needs a lot of prayer. I think hes a good president by the way.

I believe that the Bible says love the sinner but hate the sin. Yes I pray for him daily. We as Christians must pray for all, especially those who really need it as President Bush does..

Of course I still pray for him. Sometimes I pray that he'll change his mind about things too. You'd rather have the VP in charge of the country? Or perhaps the Speaker of the House? I pray for all world leaders - I pray that they make the best decisions they can for their countries.

We can pray for all people on the world, the acceptance is depending on the mercy of God. The president or any other men have their own responsibility before God. As individuals, we can only act as well-wishers, not as judges.
