I have heard of people taking a Coke/Pepsi twelve packs and replacing with beer.... Tip your room steward at the beginning of the trip and he/she will keep them iced down for you....

You could just put a couple of 6 packs in your checked luggage - not carry-on bags.

Of course, why not just buy the beer at the bar? You are on a cruise. Splurge a little. You do not take your own beer when you go to a bar in your hometown or to a club.

If you are under 21, that is another issue. The ship has the authority to deny you passage if you are caught with beer or booze. They can also put you ashore with no refund at the nearest port.

I have taken cans of Diet Coke on a ship with no problems (only 12 cans packed in suitcase). So I assume you could pack them in your luggage and hope for the best. I know many people who have taken bottles of liquor on the ship. I don't think the security is super strict, they only try to discourage it. I don't think I'd worry too much about beer. I know on Royal Caribbean the drinks are priced about the same as I would expect at a local bar. No need to stress about smuggling something on board. You'll have plenty of opportunities to drink during your cruise.

Have a great time!

Pack them in your luggage?

How do you plan to keep them cold?
