what is spooning exactally? I've heard people talk about it but have no idea what it is.

Spooning is like a cuddle... Ill try and explain. Say the girl was lying on her side on the bed, the guy would also lay down on his side facing the same direction as the girl but as close as possible. Like your wrapped around the other persons position. His front againt her back. Usually an intimate thing couples do. Clothes on though, its not nessesarily a sexual thing either, I guess it could be but generally it is not. Its just a way for gf and bf to hold each other. Comforting.
Dont listen to that person who said its sexual, GEES PEOPLE, what are yall thinking?
Unless its changed meaning dramatically in the last 5 mins, its nothing like what the last person described, I swear. Dont worry.

Spooning is lying down on your sides with your bodies facing the same way. Think of spoons nested together in a drawer.

Spooning, is when you are in bed with your partner, you cuddle.Um like hes laying on his side and then you snuggle up right behind him or it could be the other way around.Dont feel embarresed about it, because I figured out what it maent only last year.Well I hope I was a help.

When I think of spooning I think of a guy and a girl cuddling..
an example maybe? all those mattress comercials on tv..where the man and wife are cuddling on the bed, to me-that is spooning.

not lots greater then sweetie, honey, hun, candy heart... and so on. We call one yet another puppy names each and all of the time. i don't think of pookie is all that back, form of attractive! the only different time i've got heard the call pookie substitute into in "13 going on 30".
