Dear Sir/Madam,
MySpace is a great online community website. Its members are millions. Therefore, you will lose nothing in advertising your company in it. There are several more things than only advertising that can be done in MySpace:
1. You can communicate easily with your potential customers. Please remember that in this modern business environment. The closeness to your customers would be an important issue in the success of your company.
2. You can write blogs or articles with the topic closely connected to your company, which give information to the community. By doing this you will be interpreted as the expert in the topic. People would not hesitate to do business with an expert.
3. You can do a free market research by simply asking the community through their forum. By doing this you would obtain a great understand on how the market perceives your business.
4. Just do it!!! I am sure it is worth trying.
I wish you good luck with your new marketing tactic. I would like to hear about the outcome.

Nope. younger people use this, not the upper working class as much. also, when someone uses their profile to get me to look at another site to make them money, I immediately remove them from friends.
I am not on myspace to be hassled w/ ads, I get enough on Yahoo, etc.

I would, its free advertising, but you can't come across as a spammer or your messages will be trashed, but as a PR/Marketing exec myself, I would and have done it.

I've seen it done, and it doesn't cost any money, so what do you mean is it "worth it"? You mean worth the time? I would say that the time it would take you to do it is worth it.
