Try a little scented essential oil (like lavendar, rose, almond or coconut)..a few drops of concentrated oil would be more than enough (otherwise it will look greasy)....just make sure there is no alcohol content in the oil...Alcohol can grey your hair unnaturally.
It will also keep your hair conditioned too!
You can get these oils where they sell organic products or speciality and Asian stores. You may even find them at regular supermarkets..

i think it's better to wash your hair
as an alternative you can try using dry shampoo or dip your fingers in corn starch ( not too much) then use it to absorb the excess oil, then comb it. to get it to smell good use perfume oil like rose oil or vanilla , the body shop has good ones, you can try any other brand as well as long as it works for you.

the oil that ami mentioned is great, but if it gets too greasy, you can also use baby powder to take the grease out of it and it has a nice smell. only use it at the roots and put it on your brush and brush through your hair.

theres this stuff as walgreens i forget what its calld, (you can just ask them) but it looks like hair spray (same kind of can) but you sprey it in your hair to almost like replace washing it. so i would assume it would make it smell clean. dont put hair sprey in your hair cause then your GONNA have to wash it after that, and perfume has achohol in it and can dry out your hair. baby powder might work it just depends on the color of your hair if its dark it might show up look like you got white stuff in your hair. but try walgreens go to the beauty department and ask them, i use to work there and had someone ask me about it. they should still carry it, if your to embarrased to ask call them (ask for the beauty department) and see if they have it.

Your scalp does not sweat like your under arms so you can get by with every other day , but going too long and nasty oils build up . . .
then NO perfume can cure that, only shampoo and conditioner.

just spritz abit of perfume in the air and walk throuhg it... or you could just spritz your hair. It doesn't work like hairspray so don't worry about that!
