when the guy asks you out?

Lets say you dont like him (in that way). What excuses will you come up with to let him down easy? I wanna know what to look for since I'm planning on asking a chick out.

#1 excuse used by any girl (that i know): "im not looking for a boyfriend/relationship right now"

then theres the other ones:
- i dont really have the time
- i have a boyfriend ((even tho they really dont))
-i like some else right now
- i dont see you that way, youre more like a brother to me...

those are the ones i usually use (off the top of my head) if I think of any more i'll edit and add them. good luck :). Make sure your really sweet and flash those pearly whites! ((smile alot...girls love it when guys smile, especially if they have great teeth)). good luck again!

It's a very complicated system. As a man, I'd have to say that, as far as I see it, it's the nice girls who reject the nice guys. It usually goes that a nice girl knows a nice guy but never dates him, instead opting for the not-so-nice guys and then complaining when they get hurt. The problem here is that dating has nothing to do with being nice - there's two aspects two it - the sex, and the emotional support. In an ideal world, they should come from the same person - the ideal date, but in reality, it generally doesn't work out that way. Hence, this is the reason why people generally go through many dates and relationships before settling down and getting married. When a girl has a nice guy friend who will provide the emotional support, it is only natural that she goes with the not-so-nice guy for sexual advantage, as that's what our brains are wired for. Girls will not go for the nice guy as girls can usually get the "best" of both worlds by dating the not-so-nice guy while relying on the nice guy without dating him. Usually, the nice guys are too nice to demand a relationship in exchange for the emotional support, hence the problem. This can easily apply the other way around, too! It is sad that nice people are just targets waiting to be taken advantage of, until the time of the late 30s come and settling down is a must.

I have a boyfriend, I plan on asking someone out, I don't want to ruin our friendship, just a simple no, i don't think it would work, i gotta go, etc.
Its different for different girls. I only use the 'no' or 'I have a boyfriend.'

Don't be so negative, believe in yourself! Expect the unexpected, but right now it seems you are expecting to be put down. Anyways, good luck!

I straight up tell the guy in a straight forward and honest way that I'm not interested. I also not rude about it I try to be very nice.

"i'm not ready to be in a relationship right now"
"i don't want to be in a relationship right now"
"i like someone else" (even if they don't)
"i'm taking a break from dating"

stuff like that i guess
