Can't we come up with an excuse/reason/logical explanation for anything we choose to do, be it murder, rape, theft, whatever?

Isn't there always some explanation as to why we felt we had to do it? Does that make it OK, just because it can be explained?

Does God agree with you?

And God will say "it doesn't change the fact that I told you NOT to do it .... and you disobeyed Me" Why you did it doesn't matter to either your mother or God lol

First of all there is no sin!
This is not to say there are no negative actions because there are. However negative actions are not sin! Sin is a violation of Gods law and we all know there is no God!

As for the negative actions that are in the world. All of the actions that occur in this world occur because people make choices! People choose to behave in negative ways and as a result we see negative results!

Yes it is true that when a person does something whatever it is they feel in their own mind that what they did was right. The way we know if a decision we made was right or wrong is what are the results that we get. Are they possitive or negative?
You can not get a possitive result from a negative action!
You can not get a negative result from a possitive action!

Everything is cause and effect!

THERE IS NO GOD!!

I don't care what religion, athiest, etc. someone is. You can't justify everything. Some acts are just plain cruel. A person has a conscience. It will get the best of you eventually.

I can't justify any of them in my mind. Either you believe that what you're doing is sin or you don't. There's nothing to justify.

No, just because you felt you needed to do it, doesn't make it right.

God doesn't justify any sin either. He forgives it and forgets it but He doesn't justify it.

Good question- from reading posts on here, people can justify about anything. After all, aren't we supposed to "let people do what feels right?" I mean, don't tell them what they're doing is wrong- who needs morals, right?

like, oh, I don't know, say, meth and male prostitutes?

I'm getting mighty sick of the implication that Christianity equates to morality and atheism to immorality.

You remind me of "Flip Wilson!"
He always quoted: The devil made him do it.
Was he justified?

justifying in our minds is one thing........listening to Gods point of view is another........spiritual things are spiritually discerned.
