Okay this guy I am seeing.. he lives an hour away and we see each other about 1/wk sometimes more.. We talk on the phone like 8 hrs a day and talk online as well..While on the phone and online as well, he tells me how much he cares about me and that he is constantly thinking about me. When we actually get together in person, its like his actions are the complete opposite of his words. He doesnt say any of the things he tells me on the phone/online in person. How sincere would you think he is? And why will he tell me these things on the phone/online and not to my face?!?!

maybe hes more shy to tell u face to face..or he doesnt mean it at all...he only tells you those things to make you happy or to laugh at you behinde your back..what I would do is ask him if he means it and why he doesnt say it to you face to face when your together

He is just nervous. It is much easier to tell someone something online or on the phone, but when he sees you in person, he doesn't want to mess up or say something wrong. He still cares about you, he just ins't comfortable saying intimate things to your face.

Some people are like that, they can talk freely on how they feel better on the phone than in person.

Sounds like he is more expressive in the safety of his own space. Maybe he is shy, or maybe he just isn't able to open up when he is face to face. Talk to him about how you feel.

I'm guessing he gets nervous when he's near you. In email you don't realise it (it's text!) and telephone, he doesn't see your face.
