i am a freshmen an all my freinds have girlfreinds. i dress punk/emo i listen to emo....but i will never wear tight pants...for example today i wore a black shirt, and pinstripe shorts with black socks. i have my hair covering my eyes it goes like barley past my ears and ppl ask me if i can see i put gell in my hair all the time but i no thats not the problem cuz girls allways seem interested in my hair. the last gf i had was in 7th grade and we never did anything she was more like just a freind to me. i am getting sadder and sadder cuz i have no gf and my freinds do all the girls i seem interested in are other punk and emo girls "but not to punk like piercings everywher" and they all seem intrested in me enough to want to be my freind but still should i feel bad about not having a "SERIOUS' gf yet plz explain why or why not.

Start acting serious if you want girls to take you seriously.
And you're only a freshman. Just because your friends have gfs doesn't mean you have to.

This post is al over the place but let me see if I can help...
If you want a girlfriend and you don't have one- you're doing something wrong. People might say, you got to let these things happen, and blahblahblah, but that's not the case- if you keep doing the same thing, you get the same results.
You sound like the type of guy a punk/emo girl would go for- and the occasional preppy cheerleader chick depending on certain circumstances.
It sounds to me like you're carrying a lot of negative energy, and I bet you wear it on the outside even if you don't notice it, but others do and it is a major TURN-OFF.
Now: is it ok to not want a girlfriend? OF COURSE! **** man, sometimes a dog's gotta roam! But you know what, I think having a girlfriend is great. I'm single and love hooking up with whoever I want, but there truly is something awesome about being with a person that you share something amazing with. There are pros and cons to both lifestyles- but let me add this...
Having a girlfriend in 7th grade is nothing like it is in high school and NOTHING and I mean NOTHING like it is in college and so on.

theres nothing wrong with you...the way you dress seems okay.
Most ppl wont have a problem with it. Theres nothing wrong with punk or emo girls...hey you may find a punk girl you really like or an emo girl...doesnt even make a difference if you have a gf whos neither as long as she really loves you and you have to feel the same way about her. Just give it some time theres nothing wrong with that just try not to seem to sad

MARCUS REMEMBER the STYLE industry? Well they change all the time. TRY changing a few style tricks. THAT helped me a lot.I am not asking you to change i am just asking you to try something new. Then go to school ans ask all the cute girls opinions.THATS HOW I LEARNED. I ASKED WHET THE GUYS LIKED. ONCE a week i went and took my small check and bought something new. I wore my hair a different way. I BORROWED clothes . I even went to the second hand store and found the coolest OLD BLOUSE 4 a buck. LOOK AROUND . THE STYLE SHOW I PUT ON 4 the NEXT 17 weeks landed me a bf. TRY IT.

Despite the fact I can't relate at all to emo, I don't think you sound abnormal at all.
First, it's tough when all your friends are coupled and you're not. The fact you'd like a serious relationship only makes it more difficult. On the other hand, take a chance: if any of the girls who seem to want to be your friend interest you, ask her out on a date. Maybe you're missing your cues.

man I see these kids all the time and I say to myself is that a girl or a boy (sorry it is not nice to judge )try changing yourself are the other Guy's like emo that you hang with if so be a little more assertive and ask a girl man get a set if you know what i mean. they don't bite most of the time unless u ask .

ok first of all you are only a freshman in high school-- all the girls in 9th and 10th grade are into older guys--as girls mature faster--you are fine--just have fun with your friends--having a gfriend should not be what you are about--if you find a girl you like be her friend first and tell her how great she is--she will like you for you and how you see her. Give it time have fun in the process-be yourself in how ever you choose to dress--things happen for a reason--just follow life and be happy with you.

Dude, don't worry about it. I'm a Junior in H.S. and i've never had a g/f. I don't really want one in high school just because when i go to college, i'll probably never see her again. I'm just gonna wait till college. But don't worry. You'll find someone, it'll happen.
