The Shanling SP-80's are monoblock POWER amplifiers. You cannot connect a CD player or turntable to them at all, as they are not designed that way.
In order to hear anything at all, you will need a separate pre-amp / control amp. The SP-80's only have one input each - pre-amp in. They have binding posts to connect the speakers, and they have a socket for the mains leads.
But your CD player, turntable or whatever, will need to be connected to a PRE-AMP first, which is then connected to the SP-80 power amps, or you'll hear nothing.

Yes because line input is different from phono input. You will get sound but it will not be very loud.
I don't know much about that amp, except that it puts out 40 watts & is very expensive. So if it has phono inputs, you do not need to (and should not) preamp the turntable to hook a turntable to the amp. If it does not have phono inputs you will need to preamp the turnable before hooking it up to the amp.
