This is what will happen when Jesus Christ returns to earth at the second coming.
Revelation 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
To those who are not prepared he will come as a thief in the night. No one knows when a thief will break in, even less when it's night time. But every eye will see him, as the lightening striking in the west shines into the east. He is coming to judge the world for its ungodliness. There is still time to repent and come to a saving knowledge of him but the time is very short.
