the insurance compant has not talk to me about a settlement but stopped my workmans compensation

That sounds like something you should be asking your lawyer. It depends on the whole situation, how badly you were hurt, what the circumstances of the accident were, etc. If the insurance co won't talk to you, and you feel you are definetly deserving of a settlement, contact a lawyer.

Well it all comes down to who was at fault. If the truck driver is at fault then you'll get a settlement but I would see a lawyer. If your at fault then you'll get NOTHING.

were you the passenger of the tractor trailer or passenger in the other vehicle? ask a lawyer its usually free to call and ask questions like that.
