im australian and need to go visit philippines asap.how long does it take to get australian passport? and also do i need to take a visitor visa when coming in philippines?

I cant answer how long it will take to get an Ausie passport, but if its like the states it takes about a week.

When visiting the Philippines you do not need a tourist visa unless you plan on staying over 30 days....

Unless you have a valid passport, you may enter Philippines and stay for a maximum of 21 days without visas provided they have tickets for their onward journey.

About the passport:
Well, as far as i know, aust. goverment is the one who will provide your passport. Maybe you should inquire in the Dept. of foreign affair of aust.

hello i a filipina.. i think you can get ur passport one to two weeks and then you dont need to have a visitors visa im your going to stay here 21 days or more.. I think yu visit BORACA, CEbu and davao there are a lot of beautiful places there. good luck and take care on your trip to our country
