She walks fine, she plays and runs... she isnt limping or crying when she is moving, it is only when I try to lift her up.

She is fine running and playing and such... she isnt limping, the shot was administered to her back but it is on her chest and sides where I pick her up from. She acts as if her belly or rib cage is in pain. She hasnt eaten either, nor has she had a bowel movement. But that could be due to her not eating.

For a day or so, do not pick her up. She is sore and is not feeling her best, even though she is playing.
If after a couple of days, she still cries, call the vet.
If she goes a full day and has not gone potty, call the vet.
Since you have already taken her in to the vet, a phone call to them (even today), can help ease your mind. Calling the vet is free, and do not worry, they get a lot of phone calls like this and would rather you called than worry.

If the pain is around where the shot was given it is ok. My dogs all have done that for a couple of days after their shots. The vet kept telling me it is normal, they feel pain just like we do. I would say she is fine and just let her recover from the shot.

Yes, she's okay. It's normal to feel that way after the 12 weeks parvo shot. Just give her a baby aspirin, 81 mg., and she'll feel as good as new tomorrow.

my lab did this after his puppy shots. she's probably just sore. my vet said that can make puppies hurt all over their back, so just be very careful when picking up. scoop her up from the butt, not from under her front legs and grasping her back and that should be a little more comfortable for her.

is it localized to one specific spot on her body when you touch that area? especially, where she got her vaccination? if so, it's normal - the area might still be a bit sore. if it's not localized to one spot on her body and she only cries when you pick her up, it's probably because she doesnt want to be picked up. just deal with it - let her know that you're the boss and that she's going to be held whether she likes it or not, and then soothe her while holding her. nothing to worry about.
