Yes. (And fighting the theology with your own book)

According to the Bible, God created Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve got kicked out of Eden because they ate from the tree of knowledge (at which time Adam did not surely die after all).
Adam and Eve begot Cain and Abel (and later Seth). Cain killed Abel in a fit of jealousy.
At this stage, only five people have ever lived in the line of Adam and Eve.

Here beginneth the quotes! These are directly after the above concise events.

Then the LORD put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him. So Cain went out from the LORD's presence and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden. Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch.

Who would kill Cain? Where did Cain's wife come from? Who populated the land of Nod?

These are the people who have become known as "the others"
Children of the older Gods, or of evolution?

They existed, I know, because the bible tells me so!

Wouldn't this effectively be irrefutable fact for the Christians that human life existed before the creation of Adam. And if we all look the same, and Adam is in the likeness of God, who were "the others" modelled from if not other Gods?
The only possibility other than admitting the presence of other Gods is that not only "the others" but God too was descendant from the apes.

Anything is possible, I guess, but since the god people worship is a manmade god, then a fictional character cannot create real people. On the evolution subject: I once knew a man that was almost a twin for a male gorilla. He had the same body shape, his face was very similar to the gorilla's, big massive back like a silverback. Just didn't have the hair. I wasn't the only one who thought that, some of my coworkers remarked on his similarity to a gorilla, and we all thought it was very good proof that we were cousins to the great apes.

I dont believe we did evolve from apes. A " missing link " has never been found......Apes have a long, documented evolution.....but modern humans ( cro-magnon ) just kind of appeared. It isnt clear where exactly we came from......the common ancestor hasnt been found. Personally, I go for the Alien Intervention Theory.....some ancient race from another planet picked up a couple of apes and altered their DNA; then plopped them back down to see what would happen. I figure its as believable as anything :) Or maybe it could have been GOD....

I believe God created man and I believe he created the Adamite race ,which we come from.Man that was made in Gods image.I don`t think any man regardless of type came from apes.God created all things and through the thousands of years these things have changed with the earth changes. All animals are different today then they were thousands of years ago.Except Man in Gods image we have gotten smarter but our structure is the same.

Actually I'm a christian and have been wondering the same thing and i think i have the answer. Yes, for this reason. After Adam and Eve exited the garden of ead, the bible spoke of tribes all over the place. Now, Christianity is a real test, and I believe that He may have sped up the evolutionary path over a few weeks (talk about growing pains) which explains why these scientist cant find much of anything of evolution of humans. And I believe He did this to see who would fall in the trap and who would be smart enough to say well... I think ill stick with the Lord. so yes I do believe that.

Humans did not evolve from apes. The theory shows we had a common ancestor.

I do not think it is possible to have it both ways. Evolution has been shown to be a true theory. Creation has nothing to support itself except for the Bible. You choose, either thousands of scientist which have shown several times that evolution is true, or the circular reasoning of the Creationist that have no suitable evidence that can stand up to real science.

You know the monkey thing is really old! If man evolved from apes why has it stopped? Why are there no half monkey half man? Get a grip!!!! God is the creator, face the facts!!!

No. If you want to argue that God created evolution...or made evolution work.....fine....but evolution does exist. Period. Fact. Like the Earth being flat. It's well documented and observable. The only debates are how and why it happens...not if it happens.

not only possible, but they insist upon it. we know that God created everything, but they insist that they have valid proof that they evolved, well maybe they did. Otherwise why would they insist..
