Sounds like migraines to me, at least if the symptoms recur periodically or in response to some stimulus (common migraine triggers include aged cheese and hormonal fluctuations). Hopefully, the MRI will cast some light on the subject.
Is this something which happens over and over? or is it something which has happened once and is not going away?
(editing now) Do follow up with your doctor. It may turn out to be migraines, but you really really really want to make sure it isn't one of the other things it could be (or if it is, you want to catch those as early as possible).

Could be alot of different things. I take it your under a doctors supervision. Most sever headaches with blured vison could be symptoms of a migrain or in some cases even stroke. If you notice any slured speech, go to the hospital right away. It could also be a seizure dissorder.

These symptoms sound as though they may indicate a neurological disorder. I highly recommend seeing a doctor A.S.A.P.
Have you by any chance had any headaches or phantom smells?

I don't want to scare you, but I was watching this health show on tv and this woman had the same symptoms and it was a brain tumor. It might be something else, but you should definitely have it checked out.
