You could, but it's expensive to home school and do it correctly. You could study for the GED as suggested, but it's not the same as a diploma from public or private (which homeschool done correctly is) schools.
Please check out some homeschool books at any Christian bookstore. Your local library may have information also. The biology, math, and science is a killer in high school and it would be almost impossible to teach yourself.
There are some curriculum which some of us home school moms call "dummy books" (other love them...but they won't prepare you for college) that you may be able to complete with little help.
Please make wise decisions. School is hard...the system is really crappy now, but it can be done.
I would imagine if you are 18 you are a senior? If so, please try to stay in. It's almost over.
By the way, I have one son in high school, daughter in junior high that were home schooled until last year. I have two more girls who are younger and still home schooled. I'm pretty smart, and I knew I couldn't handle the high school work.
Good luck to you.........please reconsider staying in school. That diploma will look great to ANY AND EVERY future employer or college you go to. The GED isn't the same no matter what people say...ask any boss or college counselor or military recruiter.

Yes, you can, but I would recommend taking a correspondence course, so that you can get help if you need it.
