you can..but sometimes it burns. and i learned in pharmacy school that you should never do that, because it can cause cancer. it releases something into the food. i had never heard of that until then, and i dont do it anymore. so i would say NO.

It depends on the structure and the contents inside it. Some dense styrofoam cups are showing up on the market with soup inside.

Plain styrofoam of the right mixture will melt, burn, and flame if left in long enough.

No, it will literally melt on you and u will end up with a big mess and frustrated

you shouldn't as this can give off a gas. I would stick to sturdy plastic or preferably glass.

yes of course you can, i do it sometimes with my noodles when i'm reheating it. but not for too long. 2-3 minutes only.
